I’ve been blessed to hear from several fellow one-time members of FCCF and some who stayed at FCCF since release of A View from the Pews. There have been comments on both sides of my premises presented in the book. I included in my writing several of the inputs made at the time of the split from elders, staff members, friends and those who sat in the pews at FCCF. The number and length prevents me from adding them here. I urge you to seek their input from pages 158-162 of the book.
“Some of the longtime members, even elders and prominent members, recorded their reasons for leaving FCCF on a website set up by the restoration group’s steering committee. Here are the most relevant.” (Taylor, Joy S., A View from the Pews – The Inside Story of a Broken Church, 2022, Lily of the Valley Publishing, Santa Claus IN, p. 158.)
