I bow my head in somber thanksgiving, Father God. You are good. In the midst to the greatest storms of my life your steadfast love upheld me. Your justice sustained me. Remember me, Lord, when you show favor to your people. I rejoice in the gladness of your people. I glory with your inheritance. Your people have sinned. We forgot the greatness of your works and your faithfulness toward us. Forgive us, Father. Remember your covenant for our sake; save us and save our nation that we may give thanks to your holy name. Let all the people say ‘Amen’ in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 106:1 ESV)
