Lord Jesus, your message is so simple. The crowd asked what deeds constitute the work of God. You told them to keep the main thing the main thing. It’s not works that lead to salvation. Only belief in you leads to salvation. There is one work of God that we must do, believe on the one he sent, the Christ. I pray always to keep the main thing the main thing in your precious and powerful name, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
