Father, gather your servants to you today. Remind us of our joint purpose for your glory. Gel our unity and applaud our individual efforts to pull the yoke of your work. We don’t walk in ministry alone, but along side others, pulling as one force for your glory and honor. As one tires, another picks up the load to continue down the road toward the goal you set. Keep us facing forward, focused on that goal, humbly bearing with one another in love. Lord, forgive the distraction we allow. Forgive the petty upsets we fail to step over. Energize our beings. Solidify our intentions. Let us not turn to the right, nor to the left, but explicitly follow your instructions. I ask these things in the name of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“…walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:1b-3 ESV)
