Lord, we are your disciples. We, who follow your teaching, study your instructions and obey your commands, go forward to fulfill your great commission. You equip those you call with your power as you did the apostles. We carry your Holy Spirit. Help us to listen to him as we minister. Speak into our efforts and be our constant resource. Remind us of the vast strength within us and show us how to put it to efficient use. Take us to the well of your grace and mercy to show mercy to others. Take us to your healing hand when we pray over the sick and broken. Take us to your sovereignty when we face the wiles of the enemy. Shine your light to which we point others to follow. Forgive us when we try to do this in our own power. I ask these things in the name of Jesus, our strength and resolve, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
