Father, the four words You spoke to Moses are the most important I know. Everything hinges upon them. They are the supporting timber of the cross. If they are not true, my faith falls like a house of cards in the wind. They are, however, true, witnessed by everyone who heard them or wrote them as part of your Holy Word. You are the great I AM. There is none like You. You are my solid foundation and the rock upon which my faith perseveres. Abel, Enoch, Abraham, Moses, the prophets and those who suffered for their faith are commended for their faith. They are the heroes of the faith on which my faith is built. Thank You for their stories. Thank You for their wisdom, discernment and courage. Teach me through your Spirit. Increase my faith in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
