Father, I rely on your promises, your steadfast love and your faithfulness to keep your covenant, especially the New Covenant through Jesus. I come to your mercy seat to place there the lost, who don’t know Jesus and haven’t tasted your goodness. I come to bring those who know of You, but have yet to acknowledge Jesus as your Son. I come to bring the wayward and those who run from You. Allow them to see your glory at work. Let them sense the warmth of your arm across their shoulders, pulling them nearer to You. Whisper your captivating message of eternal hope. Show yourself to them. Become real to them. Touch that place within their hearts that only You can fill in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice. For the Lord your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.” (Deuteronomy 4: 29-31 ESV)
