Father in heaven, the idea that I could go against Your will is repulsive to me. I admit my frailty, though, because I know I have done just that more than a few times. Keep my feet upon the path You want me to walk. Don’t allow me to move out of the circle of Your will. Forgive me where I fail You, Father. I desire to be faithful, but I slip up. Restore me in Your goodness and mercy in the name and authority of Jesus, who died to free me from sin, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?” (Romans 6: 1-3 NKJV)
