Gracious Lord, you sent your Holy Spirit to live in us, guide us and empower us when you left to sit at the right hand of the Father. Remind us again that the mighty working power that lives in us is the same that raised Christ from death. Renew our boldness to come before your throne, and to come before people who need Jesus. Our job is to speak the message of the gospel. The Holy Spirit will take it from there unto the salvation of those who hear. Let me hear your leading. Holy Spirit, give me the words and bolster my shaking voice as I give the account of the good news. Grow my timidity into holy boldness. I ask in the name and authority of Jesus, who knew when to speak and when to be silent, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
