Dear Jesus, you came to give life, and abundantly at that. In you is everlasting joy. You are our peace. Through you we gain true life, knowing the one true God. We live for his glory and not our own. We look past this current grief, distress, pain and trial for the promise of eternal life with you. I thank you for hope and encouragement. I thank you for your promise granted in covenant. I thank you for your constancy. I honor your name above all names, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
