Almighty God, you are holy. You are worthy. What am I in comparison, but a bug? What worth lies in me? What is it’s origin? I am your child. I am an heir to the throne. I sit a little higher than the angels in your scale of things. You set the victorious saints to judge the angels. You called me out of darkness and into your marvelous light. You adopted me into your family. I am of your household. What makes this possible? You created me in your image. You redeemed me through Jesus. He carved the precious price he paid for me in the stone he rolled away from the tomb, and set my value forever. Let me never forget who I am and whose I am. Keep the fact that I represent you foremost in my mind. I desire holiness, because you are holy. Remove my doubt. Replace it with steadfast faith. I ask these things in the name and authority of your Son, Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life!” (1 Corinthians 6:3 ESV)
