Father God, remind me again that your ways are not my ways, and your thoughts cannot be discerned by my feeble brain. I suppose that every generation thought at one point or another that the end of time had come, but you kept the clocks ticking. You maintained the earth in its orbit around the sun that you continued to fuel. Though I struggle, I trust in your sovereignty. I put my faith in your Word. I take the hand of my Savior, and I walk into whatever future you allow. I do not know what is coming. I dare not fear it, but only reverence you. I stand firm in the precious name and powerful authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?…It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.” (Psalm 118:6,8 ESV)
