The issues that took place at FCCF sent shock waves through the congregation and emptied most of the pews. If you are one who left the church, I am praying for your heart to hear a word of encouragement in this project. Were you left voiceless? Were you damaged by the church in shreds? We in the pews spent many years loving and laughing together as the church body. We attended small groups and did life together for those years before the split. We have gone in all directions away from FCCF, but we are still a part of the bride of Christ. We are still brothers and sisters of the household of God. I pray for waves of healing to spread over us and draw us back together spiritually.
I am not a counselor, just a support group facilitator. I invite you to leave your stories and comments on the blogs about the book. God bless us all as we travel toward renewed unity in the Lord.

“The voiceless me with the downtrodden spirit had to find a way to keep up with my challenging job while putting Humpty Dumpty back together fast enough and strong enough to survive. Part of starting over meant searching for a church home, a real home where I could participate in the choir and join an adult Sunday school class.” (Taylor, Joy S., A View From the Pews — The Inside Story of a Broken Church, 2022, Lily of the Valley Publishing, Santa Claus IN, p. 11.
