Prepare my heart and mind to fulfill the purpose you have for me, Lord. I ask in your name above all names, Jesus, and in your authority that out paces any other, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen. “I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ … Read more
Today is a beautiful day, because “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be … Read more
Luke writes in the book of Acts to remind us of how God instructed the church to be ordered. I don’t read it to mean structure it like a corporate business in which the responsibility of the elders changes from focusing on ministry to the congregation to protection of the lead minister. I don’t understand … Read more
Father God, I come in humility and with reverence for who you are to ask that you make a way where there seems to be none. Prepare my path. Bring those who don’t know Jesus. However, micromanagement chokes off the freedom that allows the church body to select missions they choose to support. As I mentioned in my last #aviewfromthepews blog, it also chokes off … Read more
