Today is a beautiful day, because Abraham’s servant thanked God for providing a bride for Isaac, “Then the man bowed down his head and worshiped the LORD. And he said, ‘Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His mercy and His truth toward my master. As for me, being on the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.’…’And I bowed my head and worshiped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, who had led me in the way of truth to take the daughter of my master’s brother for his son.’” (Genesis 24: 26-27, 48 NKJV)

Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery and Care Net, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives.
