Father, today I ask that you strengthen our relationships. May we find special moments as we gather for celebrations, travel to see relatives, and even as we huddle together in the midst of a storm. I pray that the relationship with you strengthens as we understand our frailties. I believe your word that tells me when two or more are gathered in your name, you are there. Surround us in gaiety. Ensconce us with your goodness in trials and upheaval. Bind us forever in love and support for one another. Remind us what our relationships mean to us, especially our bond with you, Lord. Good and happy moments, trials and terrifying times…strengthen the ties between us. Turn our heads and our hopes in your direction. Point us to Jesus in all our ways, Father. I ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
