As for me, Father God, my prayer is to you. In your perfect timing and by the grace of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness. Deliver my nation from sinking in the mire of current events. Keep her safe in the deep waters. Protect her from her enemies. Do not allow her to be swallowed up and the pit close over her. You know her reproach and her sins against you. Replace in her a heart that seeks you and repents for her transgressions. Don’t hide your face from her, for she is in distress, make haste to answer. Draw her near to your heart and ransom her in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
