Yehweh Sabaoth, you are Lord of Hosts over the armies of heaven and of earth. Unless you build the nation, the people labor in vain. Unless you build the church, the congregation labors in vain. Unless you build the family, the members labor in vain. Let us not eat the bread of anxious toil, Father. We trust in your precepts. We turn not to the right nor to the left, but focus only on your will for our nation, for your church and for families everywhere. Guide us to the rock that is higher to see your purpose and fulfill the task you lay before us. We pray for your moving among us like never before. We pray for the repentance and salvation of those who don’t know Jesus. We pray for those with scales clouding their vision of who you are. Remove the scales, Lord Jesus. Speak to their hearts. Tell them you are “the way, the truth, and the life.” Return those who have drifted away back to their first love through the work of your Holy Spirit. We pray the protection of the blood of Jesus over your beloved in the name and authority of the King of kings and Lord of lords, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1 ESV)
