My soul waits for you, O Lord. From its depths I cry for mercy, and your attentive ears hear and answer. If you should mark my sins, Lord, I could not stand before you; but with you there is forgiveness for which you deserve all my reverence. My soul waits and hopes in your Word. I look for you coming, more than watchmen for the morning. I long for the day. Oh, nation, hope in the Lord, for with him is steadfast love and redemption. He will redeem us from all our iniquities in the power and authority of Jesus, according to his good and perfect will. Amen.

“If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.” (Psalm 130:3-4 ESV)
