I will praise the LORD while I have my being. I will not trust in princes in whom there is no salvation. When they die, they return to the earth, and their aspirations die with them. Blessed is he whose hope is in God. The LORD made heaven and earth, the seas and all that is in them. He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. He sets the prisoners free and opens the eyes of the blind. He watches over the sojourners, helps the fatherless and the widows. He denies the way of the wicked and brings them to ruin. He reigns forever. I will sing his praises while I have breath in the name and authority of Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
“I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.” (Psalm 146:2 ESV)
