Great are you, Holy God. You are worthy of praise. You inhabit the praises of your people. I come in praise to stand before your throne. The weight of the grace you show in allowing me to come bears down on the importance of your loving me enough to grant me personal access. I come in awe of your goodness. I am glad in your presence, for you are my Maker. I rejoice that you are my King. I praise you with dance and song, because you take pleasure in your people and adorn the humble with salvation. I exult you in glory. I praise you from my bed. Grant me remembrance of your Word as a two-edge sword to use on your behalf in speaking truth. I carry you in my heart. I carry your Word in my soul. Be glorified in my daily rhythms, Father. I ask in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.” (Psalm 149:4 ESV)
