Father God, may your children listen to you and not depart from your wisdom. Keep our ways from the evil one. Don’t let us knock on the door of cultural temptation, giving our years to the merciless, depleting our strength and working our days for the sake of the foreigner. Teach us to love discipline so that at the end of our lives we do not groan that our flesh and bodies have been consumed by treachery at the brink of ruin. Keep our ways pure and purposed for your glory, Father. We draw close to honor your ways in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“And now, O sons, listen to me, and do not depart from the words of my mouth.” (Proverbs 5:7 ESV)
