Father God, help me build my way slowly and steadily through this life. Show me how to lay up treasures bit at a time to prosper in the end. Wealth gained hastily dwindles, but whoever gathers little by little increases it. Delay is not denial and prudence takes knowledge. Keep me from foolishly flaunting folly. Set me on your solid path of instruction and honor in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“Every prudent man acts with knowledge, but a fool flaunts his folly.” (Proverbs 13:16 ESV)
