Yahweh Mekoddishkem, you are the Holy God who sanctifies me. The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and you, Lord God, test my heart. Help me accept your discipline and grow in justice and righteousness through it. Show me how to be that friend who loves at all times, ready to stand by in adversity. Grant me the blessing of bringing good to others; because a joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Help me to recognize those who need lifting up, to reach out, and to point them to you. Forgive me when I fail you. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
