Jesus, I hear you calling. You are the Good Shepherd. You go out for the salvation of your people. They know you and follow your voice. Call again, Lord. Open the minds and ears of those who don’t know you to hear you calling their names. Whisper to them in the breeze. Shout your name in peels of thunder. Beacon to the lost and broken. Bring them into your fold. Let them enter by you to be of your household. Build your flock. You don’t want even one left outside the gate, but all to come in. Show us to be the one flock of the one Shepherd, who laid down his life for us. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
“I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold.
