Oh, Lord, make in me a new heart for this new day. Implant stubborn joy to the depth of my soul. Let me live in the joy of your salvation, breathing the your breath of life. Let me never forget my beginnings, who I am, who you taught me to be, and to whom I belong. I am a child of God. Father, I am your least of these, working only by your great power. Stubborn and grateful joy, that is my cry for today and each day to come. Refresh my energy every day. Make my joy complete, because it comes from you. Remind me to abide in you and you in me. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, my hope and promise, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
