I realize, Father God, that you are the premier example for all fathers. I am humbled to be part of your household. I also realize that I have no clear concept of what your New Jerusalem will be like. I see dimly through dark glass as I read of John’s description of the city having your glory, the radiance of which I can only imagine. My heart swells in anticipation of the day I will see it with perfect vision and reunite with loved ones gone on before. That will be a beautiful day, indeed. Thank you for this vision in the name and authority of Jesus. I praise his name above all names, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.” (Revelation 21:10-11 ESV)
