Father God, what do you do with all the time that gets away from me? Do you somehow redeem it? Do you spray it across the velvet night to sparkle like the stars? Do you hold it in a bottle for me to spend with you in heaven? It flies out of my hands. I don’t know where it goes. I know you control it. I know you count my days. Help me use the time you give me wisely for your purpose. Let me sense the urgency to complete your work. I ask your forgiveness for the moments I’ve wasted in regret and self-pity. Move me forward to be your hands and feet to those you send my way. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
