Lord Jesus, I weep in sadness for my nation. I weep for the sins we commit against you. I weep for the children. I weep for the people. I weep for the unsaved. Yet, I weep tears of joy for your coming. I long to see the day. It draws nearer with every passing day. My hope is not earthly, but is in your eternal salvation. I long to see you face-to-face. I await your coming in your name above all names, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me….Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.” (John 16:16,20 ESV)
