All-seeing, all-knowing God in Heaven, there is nothing outside your control. Thank you for the apostle, John, and his infinite perspective from forever ago to eternity to come. Thank you for his witness. John, who walked three years with our Savior and witnessed the transfiguration, stood at the base of the cross. He was in the room where you appeared after your resurrection. Holy Spirit, help me learn from his writings. Open my mind to absorb and remember that I may grow in knowledge and understanding. I humbly ask in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
