Society rages against one another and justice is trampled in the streets. Forgive us, Father, for we fail you and you reward us according to our deeds. I come to your mercy seat with reverence for who you are, the God who sees us, heals us and forgives us. I pray for your hand upon the nations. Let your peace that passes all understanding prevail. Our strength fails, and our resolve dims, but you are in control. The battle is yours. Current events are a spiritual battle. I pray for an awakening. I pray that the knowledge of you spreads across the land like the oceans sweep over the beaches. Draw us to your goodness. Grant us your mercy. Save us from our unbelief in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
