Almighty Creator, God over all and Ruler of the cosmos, you are El Roi, the God who sees me. Who am I that you, so mighty a sovereign, would desire a heart-to-heart relationship with me? How is it that you saw to pull me from the pit of my poor choices? I am forever grateful, because you set me on your solid foundation of Scripture. You showed me your infinite, powerful and just nature. You called me to come out of the darkness and into your marvelous light. There is no returning to what I once was, only onward and upward motion toward what you would have me become. I sit before you in awe and gratitude in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
