All Knowing, Holy God, your thoughts are not our thoughts and your ways are not our ways. They are higher, as the heavens are higher than the earth. Don’t let me put my ideas and motives before yours, Father. Don’t allow me to use a cart when I am supposed to lift the weight to my shoulders, for we are tasked to carry one another’s burdens. Help me do the right thing in the right way in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“‘Consecrate yourselves, you and your brothers, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place that I have prepared for it. Because you did not carry it the first time, the Lord our God broke out against us, because we did not seek him according to the rule.’ So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel.
