Almighty, Holy God, there is none like you who holds perfect justice and offers forgiveness for sin. Forgive us, Father, because we fail you. I bring my nation to your mercy seat. I pray for the salvation of our leaders. I pray for eyes to open and for scales of unbelief to fall. I pray that our turning to prayer and repentance releases the power of your promise that you will hear from heaven and heal our land. May your angel put his sword of wrath back into his sheath. Guide us through the fury to glorify your name. I lift my prayer in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good an perfect will. Amen.
