Father in Heaven, you hear our cries of distress and repentance. You answer according to your mercy and grace. You desire that all will come to the saving knowledge of you. Forgive me, Father, when I fail you. You deliver the least of us and the worst of us as we humble ourselves and turn away from the attitudes and actions that separate us from your steadfast love. I pray for a wave of repentance across the globe that will move you like Menasseh’s humble plea. I pray that your Holy Spirit touches and turns the hardest of hearts to know that you are the Lord God. I ask in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God. (2 Chronicles 33: 12-13 ESV)
