The best part of my day is starting it with you, Lord. I shake off the grogginess of the night and wake to see what your Word has for me. May I never lose the desire to open the Scriptures to learn more of you. Keep me attentive to what they say, and don’t let my eyes gloss over their deep meaning. Your mercies are new each morning. I welcome your promised blessings in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
