Where does my strength come from? It comes from you, Lord. I am bolstered by your Holy Spirit and emboldened by your purpose. I am stretched by your challenge and encouraged by your Word. You are my light and my salvation, Lord. You are the lifter of my head, though my flesh may fail. Renew me in the joy of your salvation, for the joy of the Lord is my strength. I exalt your name. I praise You in spirit and truth. I bring my love to your mercy seat as my offering in your name and authority, Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“Then he said to them, ‘Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’” (Nehemiah 8:10 ESV)
