Father, You are El Roi, the God who sees us. I lift up those struggling under heavy loads, burdened and parched. I bring those who feel abandoned in the desert, alone, forsaken and hopeless. I place them in front of your mercy seat for your favor and blessing. I ask that you call them by their names to come out of the darkness and into your marvelous light where their loads are lightened. Split the rocks in their wilderness existence and bring forth streams in the desert. Flood them with your loving kindness and enfold them in your robe that fills the temple. Bring them to the realization of their need for your saving grace and redemption. Draw them closer and allow them to hear You calling their names. Sustain them as they drink of the living waters only You supply. Be glorified as they come to the saving knowledge of You in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep. He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers.” (Psalm 78: 15-16 ESV)
