Life is hard, Lord. It needs meaning and purpose. I didn’t do well before I knew you. I tried to be what others wanted, and I was not true to neither myself nor to you. You put meaning and value into my life by paying my debt with the value of your own life. You set my feet on a path of purpose. Life is still hard, Lord, but what I couldn’t do before I believed, I can to with your help. I depend on the trustworthiness of the one who set the planets spinning and ignited the stars. I bring my thanksgiving in your name above all names, Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121: 1-2 ESV)
