Holy Spirit, keep me focused on Jesus. Let me revel in the love of Him and the joy of my family gatherings, but don’t allow the glitz and sparkle of the worldly celebrations outshine the glory of His salvation. I want to rest in His mercy, recline in His peace that surpasses understanding and renew my faith as I study His Word. He is my portion. He is my all. I exalt Him in His name above all names, Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father.
“The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
