Father, I read this passage, and the times you pulled me from the struggles of life and dried my tears pop out from the recesses of my memories. You have been good to me. You have been God and Savior to me. Jesus, thank you for redeeming my time and restoring the years the locusts ate. I bring my thanks in your name and authority, Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“You will say in that day: ‘I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.’” (Isaiah 12: 1-2 ESV)
