Father, You made a way where there was none to a mountain of feasting, where the veil of death is lifted and the sting of the same is no more. You provide a place where tears are erased; and You replace the reproach and burden of our souls. You turn weeping to dancing. We respond in love and rejoicing that cannot repay the goodness of your deeds on our behalf. You have spoken over us and redeemed our past, present and future. We lift our gratitude in reverence in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine, of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined. And he will swallow up son this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.” (Isaiah 25: 6-8 ESV)
