Lord, I am grateful that the joy of knowing and living for you overcomes my circumstances. You know I fail you in that sometimes I look at the waves, the storm and wander away from your truth. Sometimes I relish the good times and forget to honor You. Forgive me when I do, Lord. You are with me in the flood, with me in the storm, with me in all circumstances, good and bad. Therefore, I can be glad for this is the day that You have made! I choose to rejoice. I choose to stay in close relationship with You through prayer. I bring my thanks in your name above all names, Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
