Paul leaves no wiggle room in his description of your will, Father. I ask your Holy Spirit to teach me and lead me to stay within the circle of your will, living in holiness and honor. My sanctification is a daily growth process toward being more like Jesus in every way. I ask your forgiveness when I fail you, Father. I thank you for your encouragement to place my steps squarely on the rock that is higher than I. Keep me in your care in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you.
