The hickory grove boasts the hint of green at the branch tips, the woods highlighted by the redbuds in bloom. The sense of newness leads me to believe the dogwoods are not far behind to push out their white blossoms. The change brings a softness of my heart after a cold, stark winter. I pray that You touch hearts everywhere with this sense of newness and promise, Lord. I pray for your peace and assurance. I pray that those who don’t know Jesus sense a tug to place faith in You, Lord, to know You and to love You. Time gives us no slack. It ticks away relentlessly, irretrievably. I pray many sons and daughters turn to faith in the name and authority of Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26 ESV)
