Father, I pray for unrepentant hearts to turn back to You and seek your mercy and forgiveness. I pray for those who have gone astray. Let them long for a closer relationship with You. Allow your Holy Spirit to cover the globe, touching and freeing souls. Jesus, please make yourself known. We desperately need You. We long for your peace that passes what we know and understand. We dream of unity and your ministry of reconciliation in your name and authority, Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Be glorified in the outcome. Amen.
“It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the disaster that I intend to do to them, so that every one may turn from his evil way, and that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.” Jeremiah had been banned from entering the house of the LORD. He sent Baruch to read God’s words to the people, “It may be that their plea for mercy will come before the Lord, and that every one will turn from his evil way, for great is the anger and wrath that the Lord has pronounced against this people.” (Jeremiah 36: 3,7 ESV)
