Father, I’m trying to wrap my brain around the commitment Mary made in becoming the mother of the Savior of the world. The immensity and impact of the love in her heart for You amazes me. She loved You because You first loved her. Her spirit rejoiced in You. She recognized the works You had done on her behalf, and she understood that future generations would call her blessed. I am thankful for her relationship with You. I am thankful for her obedience to the call You put upon her life, but greater still, I am grateful for Jesus and His loving sacrifice for us to pay the price for our sin that freed us from the bondage of sin. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to walk with believers in the land of the living. Grander things are ahead. I long to see the banquet table of marriage supper of the Lamb. I envision us making our way toward it, praising as we go. I pray all those I love are there to share it with me. You are glorified in the outcome. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
