Father, I bow in recognition that You are in control and I am not. You are the God who redeems, restores and repurposes for the greater good and for your glory. There is no one like You. You are holy, set apart. You are just, merciful and full of grace. It is not about what I have done, but what You have done and continue to do. You are worthy of exaltation, honor and praise in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! For he says to Moses, ‘I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.’ So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.” (Romans 9: 14-16 ESV)
