Lord, thank You for small mercies. Thank you for the mercy of healing the sick to continue your work on this side of forever. I thank You for perfect healing of those you call home to be on the other side of forever in your presence. Either way, Lord, You remove them from their physical suffering. Thank You for the mercy of having a little more time with loved ones; and thank You for the eternal promise of reuniting forever in your name. Your mercies are new every morning. Most of all, Lord, thank You for the mercy and promise of salvation in your name above all names and authority greater than any other, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.” (Philippians 2: 27 ESV)
