Almighty God,what a wonderful mystery that you sent the Holy Spirit to take residence within us. Unlike Old Testament times, you allow personal, living contact with you. I pray each born again believer fully experiences the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Forgive our disbelief. Heighten our understanding. Ephesians 1 tells us that the same working power that raised Christ from death lives in us. Alive, actively transforming us into what you desire, your Spirit connects us directly to your heart. He translates your Word. He teaches us your way. He reveals Jesus. He influences our work for your kingdom. Best of all, he constantly prays your will over us. I pray we open the gates that the King may come in. I pray closer, more intimate times with you, using this connection between us and you. Your Word tells us that you inhabit the worship of the saints. Move powerfully in our prayer times and worship. Let the joy within us touch those around us who don’t know you. Draw them to you. Become real to them as they watch the manifestation of your Holy Spirit in us. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
